Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman

To really love a woman,

To understand her,

You’ve got to know her deep inside.

Hear every thought,

See every dream,

And give her wings when she wants to fly.

Then when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms,

You know you really love a woman.

When you love a woman,

You tell her that she’s really wanted,

When you love a woman,

You tell him that she’s the one.

She needs somebody to tell her that it’s gonna last forever,

So tell me, have you really, really ever loved a woman?

To really love a woman,

Let her hold you till you know how she needs to be touched,

You’ve got to breathe her,

Really taste her,

Till you can feel her in your blood.

When you can feel your unborn children in her eyes,

You know you really love a woman.

You got to give some faith,

Hold her tight,

A little tenderness,

You’ve got to treat her right.

She will be there for you,

Taking good care of you,

You really gotta love your woman.

swoooosh…..

a swift brush of the wind upon my face reminded me of how "I" am today…it’s almost 5a.m. yet sleep remains to be a stranger to me. i start to peep through the eyepiece of the microscope with my mind as its specimen, and i began to see the complicated brain network that functions without direction — sending meaningless messages throughout the system and creating incoherent thought patterns resulting to DOUBT, UNCERTAINTY & DAZE. Ah! Some thoughts remained unspoken, some actions became frozen…MY SOUL IS PINING….

a villanelle about my life

ENLIGHTENMENT

Bright light penetrates my mind with bliss,

Calmly injecting wisdom that gives hope,

Soothing all my fears with a kiss of peace.

Pieces of liberating wisdom ease –

My mind, although in darkness, starts to grope,

Bright light penetrates my mind with bliss.

My decisions and actions are amiss.

Understanding comes, then I stop to mope –

Soothing all my fears with a kiss of peace.

My body sores, inflicted with disease.

Knowledge cures, and slowly I start to cope,

Bright light penetrates my mind with bliss.

Uphill paths cause my persistence to cease.

Learning comes along, flattening the slope,

Soothing all my fears with a kiss of peace.

Oh, how can I be so callow and miss,

That wisdom, like God, knows no bound or scope,

Bright light penetrates my mind with much bliss,

Soothing all my fears with a kiss of peace. e
